Prayer

The Prayer Ministry team consistently prays for the TJFM family. They meet weekly for prayer and intercession, praying for all our prayer concerns.

The Prayer Ministry team also organizes the monthly Corporate Prayer and Worship at the church, a time when we not only give our petitions to God, but also spend time lingering in the presence of God. This has been such a blessing to the TJFM family.

More traditionally prayer is defined, “conversation with God.” Prayer, however, is at the root, simply "paying attention to God". Many times we are concerned only with the talking part of our conversation with God, but are less able to grasp or appreciate the listening part of the conversation.
