Welcome

The Jesus Family Ministries (TJFM) is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating an environment where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services and get connected to our church family!

What is the Church?

The church is people, redeemed, filled with the Holy Spirit, equipped to serve [in kingdom works], and ministering to needs everywhere in Jesus’ name.
~  Jerry Cook, Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness

Saved to Serve

Ephesians 2:10

(NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece, (NIV) created in Christ Jesus to do good works. (TLB) He has given us new lives in Christ Jesus, and long ages ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others, (MSG) to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

Empowering Leaders

2 Timothy 2:2

The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Purpose

God is on mission, and we are to live a life on mission with God!  ~ Interface

Equipping

God called TJFM to win people to Christ and to equip them for kingdom service.

Serving the Community

Jesus commanded us to love our neighbor, and to meet the needs of people and communities.

Organic Church

Mark 4:26-29

This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground...the seed sprouts and grows...All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.

TJFM is an organic church. TJMF family is an ecosystem; our ministries are living organisms.

The Kingdom of God

We teach kingdom theology. Jesus preached the Gospel of the kingdom, and constantly spoke about the kingdom of God.

The Youth

Psalm 78:4

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD...

It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.   2Tim 3:16-17 TPT

About us

Get to know more about what makes us different.

The Church - God's kingdom people - is called by God to a priestly function. Every believer is to be trained and equipped for service in the kingdom of God. The training and equipping of God's people is to be a priority of the local church.
TJFM is guided by a Development Path to help you when you decide to make TJFM your home church. Our structure and programs are geared towards moving you from your current level to the next levels of engagement in the works of God.

How to Grow in TJFM

Develop

Sign up for the TJFM Orientation. The TJFM Development Path will be introduced to you.  It will guide you to grow here, get trained, and go out to serve. We also have material that will help you grow in your commitment to Christ and actively engage in his mission.

Connect

Connect to the TJFM family as you engage in our Development Path. Four ways you can connect here and grow with others: 1) attend our worship gatherings, 2) join or volunteer in our teams, 3) enroll in training classes, and 4) join small groups.

Serve

The goal of the TJFM Development Path is to move you towards active service in the kingdom of God. Serving or volunteering in church ministries or outreach are opportunities to train you in kingdom service, and maybe help you start your own ministry .

What to Expect

A typical Sunday worship service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. This is followed by good exposition and teaching of the Bible by our pulpit ministers. There is also Sunday School for children. Plan to hang around after the service for snacks, fellowship, and meeting new people.

There are various groups, classes, meetings, and events you can join on weekdays to connect to our church family. We also have ministry teams you can join or volunteer in.
